Skis and bootsMaybe you’ve never telemarked, but why not dedicate a few hours to this elegant ski-style? This originally Norwegian technique has regained wide popularity within the snow-sports community. Telemark is a variant of downhill skiing featuring a “free heel,” or rather employing a binding that fixes only the front of the boot to the binding. Leading with heel flat on the slightly forward-placed downhill ski while the uphill ski is pulled beneath the skier’s body with a flexed knee, these turns require leg strength, coordination, and balance. Still, the thrill of it is one-of-a-kind and it’s loads of fun. Our telemark skis have Rottefella bindings, and we provide Garment and Scarpa boots. This exclusive equipment is limited in quantity, so pre-book with us for a great experience!
